Ticket Protection Plan – Terms & Conditions

The Event Mania Ticket Protection Plan is an optional purchase protection service offered by Event Mania, LLC. These terms explain eligibility, covered circumstances, claims, and limitations. This Protection Plan is not insurance.
1. Nature of the Ticket Protection Plan
The Event Mania Ticket Protection Plan (“Protection Plan”) is an optional purchase protection service offered by Event Mania, LLC. This Protection Plan is NOT insurance. Event Mania is not an insurance company, and this Protection Plan is a contractual agreement under which Event Mania may provide reimbursement for eligible ticket purchases when a purchaser is unable to attend an event due to certain unforeseen circumstances outlined in these Terms.
2. Eligibility
The Protection Plan applies only to the original purchaser, for tickets bought through Event Mania, and must be purchased at the same time as the ticket transaction. The Protection Plan is non-transferable and applies only to the covered order.
3. Covered Reasons for Non-Attendance
Coverage may apply when attendance is prevented by unforeseen circumstances such as serious illness or injury, death of an immediate family member, verified travel disruption, severe weather preventing travel, or an involuntary employer requirement unknown at the time of purchase.
4. Non-Covered Reasons
The Protection Plan does not cover change of mind, scheduling conflicts, financial hardship, forgetfulness, voluntary travel changes, intoxication, misconduct, or foreseeable circumstances.
5. Event Cancellation by Organizer
If an event is cancelled or postponed by the organizer, refunds are handled under the organizer’s policies. The Protection Plan applies only to a purchaser’s inability to attend and does not duplicate organizer refunds.
6. Protection Plan Fee and Pricing Methodology
The Plan Fee is a transaction-based service fee calculated at purchase using Event Mania’s proprietary model, which considers platform-wide, vendor-specific, and event-specific service factors. The Plan Fee is not an insurance premium and is fully earned upon purchase.
7. Claims Submission Deadline
Claims must be submitted within ten (10) days following the scheduled event date. Late submissions may be denied.
8. Required Documentation
Claimants must provide reasonable documentation such as medical confirmation, travel disruption notice, employer verification, or government advisories. Event Mania may request additional documentation where necessary.
9. Maximum Reimbursement Limitation
Reimbursement shall never exceed the total amount paid for the covered ticket transaction and is subject to an absolute maximum reimbursement cap of $5,000 (USD) per order, regardless of the number of tickets purchased. Reimbursement excludes travel, lodging, third-party costs, and any consequential or incidental expenses.
10. Abuse Prevention and Monitoring
Event Mania reserves the right to review usage patterns and deny claims or suspend eligibility where repeated claims or misuse reasonably indicate abuse of the Protection Plan.
11. Not a Guarantee of Event Experience
The Protection Plan does not provide refunds for dissatisfaction with the event experience, lineup changes, delays, seating preferences, or subjective expectations.
12. Fraud and Misrepresentation
Submission of falsified documentation will result in denial and may lead to account suspension, recovery of funds, or referral to authorities where permitted by law.
13. Limitation of Liability
Event Mania’s total liability is limited to the reimbursement described herein. Event Mania is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
